Create a Shop

Learn step by step how to create a new shop in Channel Pilot Pro or copy the settings from an existing one.

Note that the “Shop Management” is only displayed if you have the appropriate authorization.

Create new Shop

At the top left of the home page, you will see the name with which you have registered to Channel Pilot Pro.

  1. Click on the name, to open the overview.

  2. Click on "Shop Management". You will be taken to a new page.

  3. Click on "Add new shop" within the Shop Management.

  4. Now you have 2 options:

    • New Shop: Create a new shop.

    • Copy Shop: Copy an existing shop from within your agency, with the same settings.

New Shop

After you have clicked on "New shop", a window will open. This is divided into three sections and contains the basic information for your new shop.

  1. Basic settings

    1. Enter the name of your shop. -> Mandatory

    2. Select the customer in which this shop will be set up. -> Mandatory

    3. Enter the web address of your new shop. -> Optional

    4. Add an E-mail address to which technical notifications about the shop should be sent. -> Mandatory

  2. Technical settings

    • Feed exports: Should feed exports be carried out for this shop?

    • API run for marketplaces: Should the API run be performed for all marketplaces connected to this shop?

  3. Activate shops

    • The shop can be activated directly after creation. Imports and exports for the new shop are activated.

    • If you do not want to activate the shop immediately, no imports and exports will take place. However, your settings will be retained.

  4. Click on "Add new shop".

You can edit the basic settings and technical settings at any time via the "Shop settings".

If the necessary data has been entered, an information window appears.

You can now:

  • Create more shops.

  • View all shops in "Shop Management".

  • Select this shop, make further settings and import your first product catalog.

Copy shop

After you clicked on “Copy shop”, a window will open. Here, you enter the basic settings for the new shop.

  1. Enter the name of your new shop.

  2. Select the customer to whom the new shop will be assigned.

  3. Select the customer from whom the settings for the new shop are to be copied.

  4. Select the shop whose settings are to be copied.

  5. Select which parts you want to copy.

  6. Click on “Copy shop”.

Once all the data has been saved, an information window appears.
